This pattern for the Baby Bella, little sister of the Bella cardigan has sizes from -12 months up to 14 years.

I designed this cardigan using the lovely Erika Knight yarn, Studio Linen. It is amazing to work with and produces a light, drapey fabric which is perfect for this pattern. Although you can use any DK weight yarn to knit this cardigan and all the yarn quantities are below. This pattern is also available as the ‘Bella cardigan’, in sizes from a 33" (84cm) to 57 1/2" (146cm) bust.

This cardigan is worked from the top down and is designed to be seamless. You work the body and sleeves in one piece down to the armholes, followed by each sleeve.

To fit: 6-12 months (12-18 months, 2-3yrs, 4-5yrs, 6-7yrs, 8-10yrs, 10-12yrs, 12-14yrs)

Materials: Studio Linen by Erika Knight (120m [131 yds] per 50g skein) 3 (3, 4, 5, 5, 6, 7, 7) x 50g skeins and five 10mm buttons

Tension: 21 sts and 31 rows to measure 10cm / 4” over stocking stitch using 4mm needles.
